Privacy policy.

In short: Moving Day has no accounts, no ads and no tracking. We don't collect your name, email address or location, and we never sell your information. Your progress is saved on your device and, on iPhone and iPad, in your own iCloud. Two services help us run the game: one checks purchases and one reports crashes.

Who we are

Moving Day is made by Oddphase, an independent game studio in Sydney, Australia ("we" and "us" in this policy). You can contact us at support@oddphase.com.

What the game keeps on your device

The game saves your progress (levels solved, pearls, sea glass and achievements), your settings (volume and vibration), and an anonymous ID used to check purchases. These stay on your device. Deleting the game deletes them.

Cloud saves and achievements

  • iPhone and iPad: your progress is stored in iCloud under your Apple Account, so it can sync between your devices. We can't see it. Apple's privacy policy applies.
  • Android: your progress and achievements stay on your device; there’s no cloud save on Android; use Move my progress to change phones.
  • Achievements: on iPhone and iPad, when you're signed in to Game Center, the achievements you earn are sent to Game Center and shown on your player profile there.

Purchases

Purchases are made through the App Store or Google Play. Google’s privacy policy applies to Google Play purchases. We never see your payment details.

We use RevenueCat to confirm purchases and restore them on your devices. RevenueCat receives the anonymous ID mentioned above, your purchase records from the store, the country of your store account, and basic technical details such as your device model, operating system and app version. It doesn't receive your name or contact details.

Crash reports

We use Sentry to find and fix problems. When the game crashes or hits an error, it sends a report describing what went wrong, along with your device model, operating system, app version and the screen you were on. Reports aren't linked to you, Sentry is set not to store IP addresses, and reports are deleted automatically within 90 days.

Moving your progress

When you use Move my progress, the code and QR code are created on your device and contain only your game progress. We never receive them. Anyone who has your code can load your progress, so share it only with yourself.

If you scan a QR code, the game uses your camera only to read the code. No images are stored or sent anywhere.

What we don't do

  • We don't show ads or use advertising IDs.
  • We don't track you across other apps or websites, or use analytics services.
  • We don't sell, rent or share your information with advertisers or data brokers.
  • We don't access your location, contacts or photos.

Children

Moving Day is suitable for players of all ages. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. If you're a parent with a question, email us.

Your choices

  • Clear your progress: in the game, go to Settings and tap Reset all progress. On iPhone and iPad, this also clears your iCloud save.
  • Remove everything on a device: delete the game.
  • iCloud and Game Center data: manage it in your Apple Account settings.
  • Purchase records: email us your store receipt or order number and we'll delete the matching record held by RevenueCat. Apple and Google keep their own records of your purchases.

Crash reports aren't linked to you, so we can't find or delete an individual player's reports. They're deleted automatically within 90 days.

Where information is processed

Apple, Google, RevenueCat and Sentry may process information in countries other than Australia, including the United States. Each protects it under its own privacy policy, linked above.

Questions and complaints

If you have a question or concern about your privacy, email support@oddphase.com and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're in Australia and aren't satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Changes to this policy

If we change how Moving Day handles information, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will also be mentioned in the game's update notes.
